A Few Member Cars at San Diego AirCooled Show
The Coyote Corvair Club in North County San Diego was revitalized in 2019 by founding member and original board officer Ron Durie, along with John Siebert of SeaBirds Corvair. They joined forces with a few like minded enthusiasts like Bill Muno- who now hosts the clubs tech sessions in his barn in Fallbrook- to get the club active again.
With meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to excellence using the best repair procedures, we set out to tackle real life issues to help inform members and prepare them for the joys of owning and driving a piece of history.
We hold an open meeting (tech-session) on the 2nd Saturday of each month at 10:30am in Fallbrook CA. We do not have a traditional “meeting”- we get right on with a hands-on tech session. Meetings typically last over 4 hours as we set out to complete the topic or project we’re diving into. Members are free to come and go- but we do like to take a little cruise out to lunch either in the middle of or after the meeting. Contact us to join the club at our next one – or get on our email list to be notified of upcoming meetings and topics.
Come join in the fun and get your hands dirty!
Each member is encouraged to participate but it’s not required.
Some like to just come and see what goes into repairing their cars.
Everyone learns something- including our Tech Directors, John & Bill, as we revive cars that have been non-op for decades and bring components back to life after critical failure or neglect.
